Job DescriptionOlympus Group is a quick turn, highly customized digital printer specializing in fabric that is looking for an individual to help us bring customer ideas to reality. This position delivers the excitement and demands of being present at customer work sites including trade shows, theme parks, and cruise lines. It requires the creativity to problem solve and create work instruction which can be executed flawlessly in a short time frame. Candidates will be required to have the composure to deal with changing time lines while generating scalable and repeatable designs for future projects. Duties include whatever it takes to get the job done on time. Essentially the role changes based on the needs that come up, often by the hour. We are an organization that does whatever it takes to be successful and need another superstar with a like mind to join us. They should be a leader who is not only a great individual contributor, but can lift those around them through training and guidance so that problems become prevented and people have more opportunity. Develop and implement a process where external structures (overhead frames, furniture, windows, stages, entryways, etc.) are measured and engineered in way manufacturing can efficiently print, sew, and assemble products to customer expectations
- Effectively marry print capabilities and draping/patternmaking capabilities to produce finished products to our customer’s standards
- Ability to document procedures so teammates can follow for current job and scale and repeat on future applications
- Ability to use both manual and electronic patterning skills and implement into an ERP system which creates an easily usable output
- Remaining flexible to meet the changing demands and deadlines encompassing the entire schedule
- Ability to share knowledge throughout departments regardless of experience level
Candidates should have a strong understanding of flat patterning, draping, and sewing. Knowledge of the digital printing and external structures is a plus.
